Otter Lake needs your help

Otter Lake is a small lake located near Hanson in Western Kentucky. For over seventy years, it has been a popular destination for fishing, boating, and other outdoor activities.

Unfortunately, the Kentucky Department of Energy and Environmental Services have deemed the Otter Lake Dam to be a "high hazard" dam in need of repair.

Otter Lake Conservation Society (OLCS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to protect, conserve, enhance, and restore Otter Lake and the Otter Lake watershed to ensure its sustainability for the benefit and collective use and enjoyment for this and future generations.

The OLCS is raising funds to support the effort in fixing the dam and bring it into compliance with updated dam regulations.
